Carbon Group has taken the initiative to import over 10,000 tonnes of packed salt for the anticipated cold snap this winter. This material is neatly packed in 25kg bags and has a huge advantage over many other salts, as not only is it suitable for de-icing roads and footpaths, it is also a food grade salt which can be used for water softening.
We have spoken to many of our existing customers and have offered exceptionally competitive pricing for any pre-booked orders which are delivered before the end of September 2011.
We have found that if you offer a dual purpose product like ours at competitive prices, customers are prepared to stock additional material for winter, safe in the knowledge that if the season is mild they can always sell it into the water-softening market.
