The Maxiren® range of 100% pure chymosin coagulants is specially developed to meet today’s key cheese industry challenges i.e. reliability, consistency and quality.
Traditionally, animal-derived rennets have been used to boost cheese yields and realise flavour development during the ripening process. However, as well as being unsuitable for vegetarians, these rennets are subject to frequent price fluctuations. Maxiren® enzymatic coagulants offer a highly functional alternative.
Maxiren® is now available preservative free. In this form it does not contain Sodium Benzoate. The range products are suitable for Halal, Kosher and vegetarian diets for all cheese types.
Maxiren® is available in various strengths from 180 IMCU (single strength), 600 IMCU and 1000 IMCU
Maxiren® is packaged in 25 litre drums and 1,000 litre IBC’s.
