Carbon Group’s Food Ingredients Division are preparing to attend the much-anticipated International Cheese & Dairy Awards Trade Show in the UK next week.

The International Cheese & Dairy Awards is a key dairy industry event which takes place at the Staffordshire County Showground over three days (21st – 23rd October, 2021) and includes a significant one-day trade event on Thursday, 21st October.

Having been cancelled last year due to Covid restrictions, there has been much expectation about the new product trends and technology that will be showcased at this year’s event.

Carbon Group Business Development Executive, John Lynch, who attended the ICDA in 2019, says there’s a lot to look forward to at this year’s show:

“The ICDA acts and an important indicator of industry trends; there’s participation from all genres of business, from highly traditional producers to dairy industry innovators who are at the cutting-edge of new products and processes. Plus, the fact that there’s an international dimension to the trade exhibition is a significant advantage. This means our team at the ICDA trade show will be well placed to introduce our Carbon Group food ingredients range to a very wide audience of potential new customers; likewise, we’ll also be in a good position to listen to producers from across the globe and hear first-hand what their unique requirements are”.

Following new distribution agreements that have been put in place over the last eighteen months, the Carbon Group trade stand at the ICDA exhibition will represent an even wider range of food ingredient brands. The distribution agreements, which cover Great Britain exclusively, include four new additions: Sacco, Zeulab, Mayasan, and OenoBioTech.

Brian Walsh, Carbon Group Managing Director, says the International Cheese and Dairy Awards provide an important platform for introducing these brands:

“As part of this much-anticipated 2021 trade show, Carbon Group will be showcasing an even broader range of cheese and dairy-related ingredients. Carbon Group was established in 1967 to serve the changing needs of the dairy and food production industries and, since then, our range of ingredients has expanded in response to industry developments. Today, we supply a broad range of chemicals and food ingredients to food-related sectors throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and further afield.

With new GB distribution agreements in place with brands such as Sacco, Zeulab, Mayasan, and OenoBioTech, Carbon Group is able to offer even more breadth and depth to our range of food ingredients. We’re proud that our broad-spanning portfolio now includes everything from ultra-low chlorate sodium and potassium hydroxide, to a range of enzymes essential for the production of dairy alternative drinks”.
